New incoming students are assisted to find accommodation when arriving to Offenburg for the first time.
The first possibility is through the “Studentenwerk Freiburg” (SWFR). The SWFR provides, depending on availability, 188 bedrooms distributed in two student residences in Offenburg.

- Goldgasse
These residences differ in rent prices and location from the campus. The rents range between 170 and 240 Euros. In each residence there are apartments with 2 to 5 individual dormitories and equipped with a kitchen and a bathroom. All apartments are furnished. Pillows and blankets are provided but sheets, covers and dishes are not available. Nearly every apartment has a balcony. Washing machines and automatic dryers are provided in the basement.

Another possibility is private accomodation. Price for a one or two room apartments are between 200 and 350 Euros.
Rent prices for private accommodation usually range from 200 to 350 Euros for a one or two rooms furnished apartment including a kitchen and bathroom.
Locations are proposed in Gengenbach and surroundings allowing students to experience German culture and lifestyle.
Charges (water, heating, electricity) could be specified separately. Normally, there is a guarantee deposit. You can consult us if you need support by making a rental agreement with your landlord.
